Charlotte Mason morning time, done for you

A beautiful morning basket routine, ready to open-and-go

Morning Feast gathers your family around great art, music, and poetry in the Charlotte Mason tradition — one gentle month at a time. Each month brings a morning basket built around three remarkable people: an artist, a composer, and a poet. The research, the writing, and the page design are already done, so there’s no prep, no planning the night before, and no twaddle.

Made for ages 6 to 15 and completely open-and-go, every week you’ll do a little picture study, read a poem aloud, and listen to a piece of music — with a friendly audio guide for each one, so you can lead with confidence even when a subject is brand new to you.

Morning Feast — August: Vincent van Gogh cover
Your first month

August: Vincent van Gogh

Our first complete month gathers Vincent van Gogh, the composer Franz Schubert, and the poet John Greenleaf Whittier — a month of sunflowers and starry skies, songs that feel like spoken poetry, and the turning of the seasons. It’s the whole Morning Feast rhythm in one beautiful file, and it’s ready.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions

What ages is it for?

It is designed for children roughly ages 6 to 15, and works beautifully across a range of ages at once — older children go deeper while younger ones simply enjoy the stories, art, and music alongside them.

Is it a physical product or a digital download?

Every month is an instant digital download (PDF) — nothing is shipped. You print it at home on a standard printer, or send the file to a local print shop and have it spiral-bound.

How does a month work?

Each month introduces one artist, one composer, and one poet. Every week you spend a little time with one painting, one poem, and one piece of music — four gentle, open-and-go gatherings of about 20–30 minutes, with nothing to prep and nothing to grade.
